In the series opener that revolves around a group of high school students with a warped, twisted, yet hilarious view on high school and teen angst; Sam a "wannabe" and her crew are the opposite of Brooke and her "popular" crew. These two girls butt heads as Brooke plans the first big party of the school year. After Sam alienates her friends getting a painful nose piercing to impress an older teacher, she comes to her senses. With her friends they decide to crash Brooke's party. Sam's mother goes on a trip where she meets a man, the father of Brooke, her arch rival, who both come in during all the commotion between the "Wannabe's" and "Popular" groups.
