Trivia

In one scene, Detective Jameson (Don Meredith) asks the bar owner (Jackie Coogan) where he was. He responds by saying he was home watching the Redskins and Dallas game. This is a nod to Meredith who was the quarterback of the Dallas Cowboys for several years and had a rivalry with the Washington Redskins. There is also a portrait of Meredith (in a Cowboys uniform) on the wall in the bar. See more »

Looking for some leads on some robberies.
16 April 2017 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

Detectives Bert Jameson (Don Meredith) and Lew Reeves (Michael Cole) are looking for some leads in some strong-arm robbery cases. At first, the robberies are of pharmacies but soon begin to involve other businesses, like Dewey Gibson (James McEachin) and his dry cleaning business. At the same time, a robber is using his motorcycle to evade capture. Can the two cases be solved by the end of the episode?

This is a much more ordinary sort of episode of "Police Story". In other words, some of the cases involve unusual police officers, such as the Chief, a fingerprint man or officers on the street. But the most common episodes seem to involve detectives working the various units. Well written and exciting...you can find this episode and many others on YouTube.
