WOW!!! Talk about your tough cop shows on tv!
This episode is very hard hitting and not recommended for anyone who is faint of heart or has become accustomed to other cop shows on television that don't really deal with the real world.

One thing I will say about this episode is that Jackie Cooper is so good in his role as a bad guy that he's scary. When you think about somebody like his character living out there on the streets of America it gives you the chills, and thankfully we have police officers and prisons!!

This episode is pretty much standard fare for 'Police Story'. It's the absolute best cop show ever shown on television. I loved Adam-12 and Dragnet, but Police Story goes far beyond any show like that.

Just a great t.v. Series that I remember watching back in the 1970s when I was in my mid-20s, and I'm sure glad it's available on cd now for younger folks to enjoy.
