Storyline

Kate receives a telegram from Ralph Denton, an old boyfriend, who states that he is coming by the hotel for a few days. Kate seems unconcerned by the news, but Uncle Joe thinks Kate is acting just a little too nonchalantly, which means she is masking still deep seated romantic feelings for him. Regardless of if she or Ralph has a romantic interest in the other, they probably won't be able to act on them with Ralph's overbearing and busybody spinster sister, Mabel Denton, along for the visit. The girls and Uncle Joe do whatever they can to preoccupy Mabel so that Ralph and Kate can have some romantic alone time together. Joe's scheming has an unintended consequence which he has to figure how to get out of. Written by Huggo
