Storyline

Del is hoping to sell a load of wigs bought from Mustapha to the old ladies in the Nag's Head and is annoyed to find out that he has actually bought a box of mens' wigs. Cassandra leaves Rodney, claiming that he lacks drive. He turns vegetarian and sports a clip-on pony-tail to appear trendy but when Cassandra gets back in touch with him she tells him she prefers him just as he is. Raquel gives birth to a baby boy, which Rodney has jokingly suggested be called Damien, a name Del and Raquel are happy to give him. As dusk falls Del communes with his dead mother to tell her of his happiness. Written by don @ minifie-1

Trivia

Raquel's words during her delivery were spoken by John Sullivan's wife when she was in labor. Neither Tessa Peake-Jones nor David Jason were parents at that time, so to make the scene realistic, they took advice from midwives at the West Middlesex Hospital while filming the scene. See more »

Goofs

When Del hangs up his jacket on the coat rack in the hallway of the flat , the entire wall moves and wobbles very noticeably. See more »

It's a Rat!!

Raquel gives birth to baby Damien while Rodney and Cassandra work on their marriage. It's sweet and all but not as good as I remember and so not the funniest episode of the series. But Series 7 ends the way most people figured it would, with eyes very much set on the future.
