The title is based on the expression, "Old soldiers never die, they just fade away" spoken by General of the Army Douglas MacArthur upon his retirement in 1951 in front of a joint session of Congress.
    • Goofs
Murray tries to point how how Felix and Oscar are acting old before their time, so he shows them he can jump the two stairs between the living room and the front door landing. As he moves from the middle of the room to make his jump toward the door, a clear shadow of the boom microphone is seen on the wall as it moves toward the door to follow Murray.

Felix and Oscar try to act young
Felix finds out his high school girlfriend is now a grandmother and now he feels old. He convinces Oscar he is getting old also.

A funny episode with the duo trying to hang out in discotheque filled with younger people. The best scenes are when they try to have some "heavy raps" with some young girls. Oscar tries the new dances but Felix still dances like Fred Astaire.
