The Unwanted Occasional Brother
5 March 2018 | by See all my reviews

Greta (Patricia Harty) is having a party, and feeling pressured, Peter (Michael Callan) agrees to have it in his nicer apartment. Greta's boyfriend Paul answers the phone and introduces himself to Mr. Brahms (Jack Collins). Trying to cover up, Greta reintroduces him as "Peter's kid brother". Mr. Brahms now wishes to meet Peter's brother over dinner. Peter and Greta scramble to find someone willing to play his brother. Peter pays the milkman Teddy (Don Penny) to play the part and be an unknown writer set to leave town that night. Family-first Mr. Brahms arranges to have Teddy work part-time for him and stay with Peter to concentrate on his writing. Peter and Greta now try to find ways to get Teddy to move out.

Don Penny brings some comedy to the episode with his character's continual lack of confidence in the act.
