That's so unusual to find a sub character, a supporting role having a so interesting place in this story. He nearly hides Steed, Purdey and Gambit. A real performance that permits him to handle the whole story. I like this topic, which has nothing to do with the usual AVENGERS atmosphere. I speak of course of Ian Hendry's character, a lost man trying to regain his self honor. A very moving character. i will put this episode aside the rest of the series, at least this season. Maybe not better but just different.
