Purdey is kidnapped and Steed is given instructions to copy some top secret documents in order to get her back. Unable to tell anyone what he's doing, the Ministry begins to suspect Steed has switched sides and Gambit is ordered to follow him. Written by The TV Archaeologist
Boring, if you expect for an AVENGERS atmosphere experiment. This is pure espionage, not badly done, not at all, and I would say unusual for the series, but it could have fit for any other episodeof a common espionage show. Something remains inetresting though, it's some kind of rivalry, misunderstanding, feud, between Steed and Gambit around Purdey.
