Goofs

Two significant geography errors take place. Sonny and Will were headed from Baltimore to New Jersey. Even in the 70's the most direct route was I-95 north. They were said to be 20 minutes out of Baltimore at one point, which would place them somewhere between Baltimore and the Maryland/Delaware state line. The first error takes place when they go to Hillsborough. This town is in Prince Georges County in the opposite direction they were traveling, so they would never have passed by it. The second error takes place when they go to the Cape May ferry. The loading point in Lewes Delaware is far south of where they would have been, so it would have been far faster and a far shorter trip to stay on the main road to go to New Jersey. As with the Hillsborough error, they would have to go in the wrong direction to get there. See more »
