A trap for Taja
6 June 2020 | by unbrokenmetalSee all my reviews

Taja believes she spotted her long lost father - but then she is taken through a portal to the Cobalt mines and becomes a prisoner of Shang Tsung. His servant Vorpax takes care of Taja, they are exploring the mines together, but without finding Taja's father. Shang Tsung meanwhile sets the trap: he wants Kung Lao to come to Taja's rescue, and then capture him.

Altogether, this episode dwells a bit less on the fighting and more on Taja's character, which is good. Nonetheless Taja has a great scene, kicking a guard in the teeth who is about twice as tall.
