A young woman and her boyfriend, carrying the woman's abusive step-father in the trunk of their car, go searching for someone the woman refers to as Angel. When the boyfriend shoots and kills a policeman during a traffic stop, the check run on the car's license plate leads to a link with a string of serial killings from several years earlier, which is where Peter and Frank get called in. As the couple continues their search for Angel leaving a trail of bodies in their wake, Frank must unlock the family's secrets to guess what their goal is and where they are headed. This episode contains a scene where several characters watch a police dash cam video showing an officer pulling over a car in which the policeman is then shot and killed by the driver after being distracted by a noise coming from the trunk. One of the actors watching the video, Steve Makaj, had a very similar role in The X-Files episode "Ascension", where he played a patrolman who pulls over a car and is subsequently shot and killed by the driver after being distracted by a noise coming from the trunk. The incident was also recorded by a dash cam video. See more »

And that's what faith was. He said that we can't be weak, that we can't dismiss the miracle, that we have to be strong enough to make mysteries real.
