Jodi is excited about her growing love for Luke, unaware that at the same time he is making a deal with a local criminal to deliver stolen cigars. When a policeman chases after Luke for speeding, he is forced to transfer the contraband to the back of Stevie's Ute and she unwittingly takes off with it before Luke can stop her. When Stevie discovers the cigars she burns them immediately, despite Jodi's protests that there must be an innocent explanation.
