Back to New Mexico
17 March 2015 | by See all my reviews

Marshal Sam McCloud gets to go back to New Mexico for some unfinished business. But not before that business comes to New York and kidnaps Diana Muldaur.

Neville Brand and James Wainwright get released from a 12 year prison term and it was Dennis Weaver who put them there back when he was the marshal of Taos, New Mexico. They and Greg Mullavey committed a robbery that netted them $400,000.00 in loot. But ostensibly they don't know where their loot is now. Ostensibly I say because one of them definitely does know because he put it there and if the authorities believe that Weaver robbed the robbers he's in the clear.

But to get to McCloud, girlfriend Diana Muldaur is kidnapped and two FBI men are shot and with McCloud's own hog leg colt.

Terry Carter puts his own career in jeopardy trying to cover for Weaver. What a fellow does for a friend as Sergeant Joe Broadhurst neglects his own anniversary including the plans for a night of splendor with Mrs. Broadhurst.

Neville Brand who played some nasty villains on the big and small screen is at his nastiest here. Fans of the McCloud series will enjoy this.
