Shades of "Laura"
17 April 2017 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

The first portion of this episode is confusing...lots of folks get murdered and in a couple cases, Mannix is there when the killings occur. However, one of them bothers him most--of a pretty lady photographer. He broods about thinking about it for some time...much like Dana Andrews did in the movie "Laura". And, like "Laura", it turns out the woman is NOT dead and some other woman was accidentally killed instead of her. So what do the murders of all these folks have to do with the photographer? See the show and you'll figure it all out.

This is the first episode with romance in many seasons. However, like most romances on detective shows, following the episode you never hear about this woman again! Well worth seeing.
