Jamie and Paul make love in the afternoon, and Jamie is energized. Lisa and Ira watch Mabel, and Lisa decides she wants her own baby. She decides to adopt a pet cat. She gets one that is wild and unfriendly.
Jamie's (Helen Hunt) sister Lisa (Anne Ramsay) hears her Biological clock tick. Ira (John Pankow) convinces Lisa that she is not ready for a baby. Adopting an animal from the New York Animal Shelter is the better way to test, to see if she's still irresponsible or ready for a child. Lisa's rescue from the Animal Shelter is not some ordinary cat. Shredding clothing to hats and jumping six-feet vertically into the air should have been the sign that there's a Puma in the kitchen. Jamie and Paul are left to fend for themselves in this David Steinberg directed work.
