Near the end MacGyver is trying to hide from the guy with the gas can. Mac isn't stooped low enough and his head is visible over the car's hood. There is no way he could not have seen from his position. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
MacGyver: [voice-over narration] I'd been doing volunteer work at the Challengers Club for years, dropping by whenever I could. The club began with a dream and an empty building. With some hard work and imagination, it had survived for 15 years. When something was needed it was usually donated or scrounged. I'd added some stuff to the weight machine. I knew the kids would be thrilled with the results.
Rico: It'll never fly, man.

This episode felt more real than any other MacGyver episode to this point in the series

This episode felt more real than any other MacGyver episode to this point in the series...

I don't know how else to say it other than that each episode in this series before this point had at least somewhat of a canned feel to it. I've almost been disappointed with the series since I went back and started buying the DVD sets. Many of the episodes we just plain-old lame. However, after watching this episode I felt like I'd finally seen what kind of potential the show had and I was given a glimpse of the depth of character existent in MacGyver. Did anyone else feel this way about this episode? I'd be interested to hear other reactions.
