When Henry decides to go back to the 4077th with Hawk and Trap when he believed Radar was sick, they took a chopper from Tokyo to the camp. Tokyo to Seoul is 721 miles as the crow flies, but the Bell 47 single engine, single blade chopper, which is what they used, had a range of only 214 miles, thereby making a chopper flight impossible as they could not stop and refuel several times while flying over the ocean. Also, with a top speed of only 105 mph, the flight would have taken about seven hours, making it impractical, too. They would have just taken a plane.
The comic book that Radar is reading, is the January 1969 issue of Captain Savage and His Battlefield Raiders; the episode takes place in 1951.
When talking about who might replace Frank, one option mentioned is "some guy with pull in the War Department."
