    • Trivia
The character Nancy Sue Parker and her actress, Kathrine Baumann, were both from Independence, Ohio. Additionally, Baumann was Miss Ohio in 1969 and runner up for Miss America 1970.
    • Goofs
Henry's son Andrew was born sometime during the Korean War. Given the information from the end of season one, he would have been born at the earliest spring of 1951. Henry was sent home well before it was over (summer 1953). That places the events of this story at the latest autumn of 1952. Andrew would not yet have reached 18 months, in which case he could hardly have carried on a conversation with his father to the extent as shown, let alone be considered "man of the house."
    • Quotes

Hawkeye: [pushes Nancy away after she kisses him passionately] In the first place I want to thank you from the bottom of my mouth. Secondly, we're not in the parking lot at the prom. And lastly, one of us loves Henry Blake, and I think it's me. It was nice meeting you and your pom-poms.

Frank Burns has been running the 4077th for over a week and has made the whole camp miserable (as he often does). Henry comes back from Tokyo. He has fallen in love with a spunky little 20 year old cheerleader. She is gorgeous, but she is only 20. He begins to talk about ending his marriage. The scenes with the two of them together are embarrassing, but he is in his forties and is having the classic midlife crisis. Radar is the voice of reason here, but Henry is so caught up in his elderly hormones, he can't see straight. Everything comes to a head when Hawkeye is left alone with the young lady after Henry is called into surgery. This is another episode where one can understand the longings of the lonely.
