Quotes

Detective Ed Green: You know Tina was seeing Ruffino, too, right?
Christoff: I didn't like it, but I was in no position to tell her what to do.
Detective Joe Fontana: Does he know about you?
Christoff: I don't think so. Wait a minute, you don't think that's why he might've tried to bump me off, do you?
Detective Joe Fontana: [sarcastic] Hmm, let me take a guess... yeah, it's a thought.

The shock jock and the Don
8 September 2013 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

A whole lot of bodies start to pile up in this one. Initially Jose Zuniga, radio talk show host modeled on Curtis Sliwa of the Guardian Angels, is victim of an attempted assassination. After that a Mafia hit-man is gunned down in a pizzeria.

But there is a real tragic side to this story. A young kid with the same name and cousin to another made Mafia guy is also killed in a case of mistaken identity. And then gallery owner Nicolette Hart is asphyxiated.

She's at the root of all this. She's the girlfriend of Don Arthur J. Nascarella and she's been stepping out on him with Zuniga who takes a particular delight in baiting Nascarella on his radio show.

This is a most testosterone driven Law And Order episode. But the end has a real twist to it.
