The Macroplex corporation was originally named Megatron. Michael states in the script that it sounds like "a Masters of the Universe toy;" he was close - Megatron was actually the name of one of the toy Transformers. In the episode, he says that Macroplex sounds "like an exercise machine."

Goofs
The buttons on KITT's main panel seem to change. The button immediately below the "Turbo Boost" is normally "Eject Left" but changes 3 times in this episode. It is shown as "Zoom In" (though there is no zoom out button), then it changes later to "Ultrasonic Freq" (plus wrong typeface), then "Auto Roof Left" before returning to "Eject Left".

Routine

An interesting idea of construction site hidden with experimental new explosives, but otherwise a routine, and at times flat episode, though the action scenes and Knight's interaction with KITT, like always, balances that, making it watchable. The finale is quite good, however.
