Harm, Bud, and Josh take part in a weekend tiger cruise (for friends and relatives of Navy members) aboard a frigate in the Gulf of Mexico; Josh sights a raft with people believed to be Cuban refugees. The ship's crew "rescues" them; shortly afterward they reveal themselves as anti-Castro liberators. The terrorists take hostages, take over the ship, and prepare to launch missiles to hit Castro at a public event. Harm and Josh put out the word, and help starts moving. The bad guys launch two missiles, which do not reach their target. The crew regains control of the ship, and Harm, Bud, and Josh return to Washington. Annie makes an announcement to Harm, and, at almost the same instant, Bud gives Harm an announcement and an invitation. Written by
Did You Know?
There have been two USS Stockdales. DDG-106 (Guided Missile Destroyer) is a currently active ship. She was commissioned 18 Apr 09. Previous to that was DE-399 (Destroyer Escort). She served from Aug. 1943 until Apr. 1947. See more
Not necessarily an error. Throughout the 10-year series ships names have not matched up with the hull numbers With the exception of "Ghost Ship" when the actual Hornet was shown and corresponded to her hull number 12. Usually the USS Seahawk CVN 65 was actually the USS Enterprise, while some shots of her flight deck were of the Stennis and the Kennedy. The name changes were obviously done on purpose, not in error.
