R&R goes bad
21 August 2013 | by bkoganbingSee all my reviews

A little R&R for the Ironside team goes real bad when escaped convict Clu Gulager steals the Ironside van with Don Galloway inside. Gulager of course did not realize he was taking a San Francisco PD officer as a hostage, but it turns out to be a good thing he did.

This all occurs in a small northern California town where a sheriff very similar to the role G.D. Spradlin had in Tank has quite a little racket going involving his prison farm. The sheriff is played here by Steve Forrest who wants to keep it a secret and Gulager is a danger to him and now so is Galloway.

It's an interesting episode, one of the best I've seen from the series. The team suffers a casualty however. For what happened you have to watch Ironside to find out.
