Quotes

Lucy Ricardo: [speaking in the style of a carnival barker] Tell ya what I'm gonna do. Any cut you want, seventy-nine cents a pound.
Woman in Butcher Shop: But how can you afford to sell it so cheap?
Lucy Ricardo: I'm glad you asked that, lady. This is all made possible because we do everything ourselves. We rope, we brand, we butcher, we market. We do everything but eat it for you. Seventy-nine cents a pound.

My favorite episode of season 1
1 August 2020 | by angelahptrioSee all my reviews

I must say every time I watch this I feel satisfied. From beginning to end there's no dull moment. I love this episode probably the best of 1st season. It starts simple then builds up from Lucy wanting a freezer, Ricky says no, Ethel helps buy one from her relative and they order too much meat not realizing, they sell meat but get caught, then Lucy hides the meat it goes on and on and on. Classic Lucy episodes.
