Trivia

Numa has "Boil" written on her armor in Aurebesh, or, more commonly, Star Wars language. This is a reference to the Clone Trooper, Boil, who rescued her as a child in Star Wars the Clone Wars episode "Innocents of Ryloth" See more »

Goofs

In the Clone Wars animated series, the Twi'lek species' name was always pronounced as "TWEE-lek." But here, when the Imperials say it, they pronounce it "TWY-lek." See more »

Quotes

Grand Admiral Thrawn: War, it's all you've every know, isn't it? You were so young when you survived the Clone War, no wonder you're as equipped in spirit to fight as well as you do. War is in your blood. I studied the art of war, worked to perfect it, but you? You were forged by it.
Captain Slavin: Sir, she's just a peasant!
Hera Syndulla: It doesn't matter where we come from, Admiral. Our will to be free is what's going to beat you.
Captain Slavin: You... you dare?
Grand Admiral Thrawn: Slavin, please. You embarrass me in front of our host.
Captain Slavin: Host? What?
Grand Admiral Thrawn: May I introduce Hera Syndulla. ...

Thrawn into the fray.
19 October 2020 | by A_Kind_Of_CineMagicSee all my reviews

This episode is a bit of a filler in some respects but the prominence of Thrawn makes it notable and substantial. The episode acts as a real introduction of Thrawn showing us his quiet, thoughtful menace and patient strategic brilliance. He is a great character and this episode sets up his position as the new threat to the rebellion.

We also get some strengthening of Hera's background and further exploration of how the Empire is taking over worlds.

There is some decent action too.

My rating: 8/10.
