Duke has a tray of photographic chemicals thrown in his face. This would be developer (maybe hydroquinone, phenidone or dimezone), stop bath (either water or acetic acid) or fixer (possibly ammonium thiosulfate or sodium thiosulfate). Developer would be most likely, given the concern over Duke's eyes. See more »

The helicopter used to search for the missing limo had a banner with the words Cameron Lines on it and not HPD. This was reused footage from earlier in the series. See more »

Proof that the show was still going strong in season 10.
23 April 2013 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

While I would not call "My Friend, My Enemy" a great episode of "Hawaii Five-O", it certainly is a strong one--and proof that after almost 10 complete seasons that the show was still very well made.

This show has to do with a king of some fictional Arab country. His wife ends up getting kidnapped AFTER a feisty Italian reporter publishes an article saying that there would be such a kidnapping! Not surprisingly, McGarrett wants to know how she knew, but being a reporter with high ideals, she refuses to divulge her source and the source is adamant that he does not want to talk with the police. Into this odd mix comes a king's first wife--a lady who is hiding a secret of her own.

Apart from watching McGarrett and Danno making sexist leers at the cute reporter, this is a very good episode. The script is interesting, has a few nice twists and kept my interest. Worth seeing.
