Storyline

A black woman is arrested for murder when she is found in the dead man's apartment with a gun in her purse. When the police arrive, she was in the middle of searching the room. She confesses to the murder. Her employer, a well-to-do white woman, hires Harry (on Sergeant Roberts' recommendation) to find the real killer.
