Harry's former nurse needs his help. Her son has been arrested for murder. James is a troubled kid, but no murderer. Harry goes to the police station, where his friend and former colleague Lt. Quinlan seems awfully uptight about his asking questions. When Harry goes to the scene of the crime to look around, he discovers an observant blind kid who's the brother of a prostitute that Harry knows from his old police force days. The blind kid heard the shots and many other sounds. He's convinced that James wasn't the shooter. Harry thinks he knows who committed the murder, but he can't prove it. And the police can't touch him without proof. The police's hands are tied. Are Harry's?
