When Soviets steal Maxwell's FBI parking spot he jabs at them "you guys really blew it in Egypt". The year before, 1980 (when filming probably took place) Egyptian Leader Anwar Sadat had grew tired of former ally Soviet Union's condemnation of Egyptian-Israel peace progress.
