Trivia
Dr. Striegel shows a picture of and mentions, Dr. Mengele. At the time of this episode, 1983, the status of Nazi 'Doctor of Death' Josef Mengele was unknown. Originally believed dead after WWII there was many rumors he was still alive and spotted in South America through the years. Nazi hunters and Israeli Mossad had come close many times, but in 1985 a body was exhumed and positively identified as Mengele in Brazil. He had died in 1979 after suffering a stroke while swimming and drowned.

Goofs
In order to coerce Bill Maxwell into helping him find a missing scientist, Dr. Strie injects Bill with "a rather unique viral bacteria we discovered during our genetic engineering" which will kill him in 24 hours. Virus and bacteria are totally different kinds of micro-organisms; there cannot be such a thing as a "viral bacteria".
