    JJ out of work

"JJ's New Career" kicked off a two part storyline dealing with more financial difficulties. JJ has just been fired from his job delivering chicken, the business going belly up, so he heads down the unemployment agency in search of work. It's there where he meets up with former high school classmates Ernie (Andre Edwards) and Leon (Grand L. Bush), who offer him a piece of their action 'making good bread': "that all depends on how hot the oven is!" Frustrated with the condescending clerk (Susan Batson), and with eviction once again staring them in the face, JJ has no choice but to call upon his 'friends,' with their offer of hot money.
