She also mentioned how in 1952, her grandmother decided to go into politics by electing Adlai Stevenson as president. Dorothy was in her 20s in the 1950s, not six. If Dorothy is roughly 60 in this episode, then Sophia was 22 when she gave birth to Dorothy, making Sophia's mother 88 at that time. This would make her 66 when she gave birth to Sophia.
