Trivia

The scene where Madeline Albright is Rory's mother (in Rory's dream) is word-for-word the conversation Lorelai had with Rory on her 16th birthday in Gilmore Girls: Rory's Birthday Parties (2000). See more »

Goofs

When Emily and Richard discuss giving Rory ''the talk,' Emily claims she walked in on Logan and Rory "very cozy on the couch" and that they "weren't looking for her keys." But in the actual scene, Emily knocks and doesn't come in until Rory and Logan are off the couch and standing to answer the door, and there are curtains on the windows, so there is no way she could have known they were on the couch or looking for her keys. Quotes

Richard: She's having sex, Lorelai. She's having sex under my roof. I paid $40,000 to redecorate her sex house. I bought her a sex mattress. Her sex box springs. I provided everything she needs to waste her life.
Lorelai: Dad, Rory having sex is not your fault. Really, she was having sex way before the big renovation.
Richard: I feel so much better now.
