A story about a kidnapped couple on a holiday trip
Ruth Roman and Eddie Albert are the stars of this General Electric Theater episode.

At the beginning they are seen packing the bags for a trip to Palm Springs, they leave the kids to the babysitter and they go to a drug store. When they return to the car they are kidnapped by two criminals, played by Robert Armstrong and Dane Clark, who have to go out to the border and Albert can only follow what he's told.

The two criminals arrive at a farmhouse where Roman is forced to ask some fuel. While the old farmer helps Roman with the fuel, she whispers to the farmer about the thugs and to call the police, but soon Clark finds out that his henchman wasn't able enough to disarm Albert's character, and kills him. When Clark is trying to kill Albert's character, then arrives the farmer that saves the day with a gauge planted in Clark's back spine. And then we hear a police siren, and the episode ends with Albert and Roman hugging each other.

This is a nice noir-themed episode of the series, and is well acted by all, especially Eddie Albert (in his second of three episodes) in the role of a lovable husband and Dane Clark in one of his usual villain roles. This was directed by Jacques Torneur, the director of ''Cat People'' and ''Out of the Past''. I loved it and I recommend it to noir TV shows fans.
