Don't gamble with strangers
12 June 2014 | by mitchrmpSee all my reviews

I really don't understand this show. Perhaps I'm not watching it closely enough. Perhaps I'm missing something. I haven't been able to watch every episode - only the ones on Youtube. I have it on my list to purchase...

Sometimes Gene Autry is a rancher, and sometimes a sheriff. Pat is Pat, but in this episode, he's Hap...Make any sense?

Anyways, in this episode is so proud of Gene's horse that he's willing to "put up or shut up" anything the man he's betting against asks. What he doesn't know, however, is that the stranger is fixing the race. Soon he loses Gene's horse and Gene has to go after the crooks.

The episode is pretty simple, but I do like the black young man, Corky. We didn't really see very man African Americans back in these days, so it's nice when we see one every once in awhile.
