Dream advertisements inspire Fry to go shopping, but he has insufficient funds. After visiting the bank, Fry finds out his bank account's interest has made him a billionaire. He goes on a spree, buying items that remind him of the 1990s. When discovers that he can't order anchovies on his pizza because of their extinction, he visits an auction that has them on the block. Fry outbids Mom, who believes he's going to use them to make extremely cheap robot oil. Using Pamela Anderson, she sets up a plot to trick him into unveiling his account password. They rob him blind, only to discover Fry intends on eating them. And he would have too, if it weren't for the appetite of Dr. Zoidberg. Written by Anonymous

Did You Know?

In this episode, we learn that the currency of the year 3000 (Dollar) has not changed since 2000. We often see prices in the series which are normally at the similar levels to nowadays. Thus, either there was no inflation from 2000 to 3000, inflation was eventually reversed, or, more likely, a "New Dollar" was created once inflation made ordinary goods worth thousands of dollars. It would have been easier to steal the anchovies from Fry. See more »

Walt: And if you need further proof that we are a thousand years in the past, here is contemporary actress Pamela Anderson.
Pamela Anderson's Head: Hello, Fry. Remember me from "Baywatch: the Movie?"
Fry: Huh?
Pamela Anderson's Head: It was the first movie to be shot entirely in slow motion.
Walt: It hasn't been made yet.
Pamela Anderson's Head: Then he doesn't know I won the Oscar?
Walt: Nope.
Pamela Anderson's Head: Crap!
