There are many mistakes seen with the Sub captain's uniform. For one thing he is wearing the insignia of a Navy SEAL, an eagle with a pistol and a trident in its talons, both on his left breast and his hat, but as he is the CO of a submarine he would not be wearing the insignia of a SEAL, instead he would have a Submarine Warfare Officer badge, which is a diving bell below the surface of the water. And no matter the division one is in, your service badge is never on your hat, the Navy insignia is worn on the dress uniform hat. Also the dress uniform does not have both the stripes and rank insignia pin. A captain's rank on the dress uniform is shown on the lower sleeves as four gold stripes, the eagle rank insignia pin is not worn on the shoulders, or anywhere for that matter, on the dress uniform.
