Storyline

Rachel watches Ben for an hour and is a little scared because she's never been alone with him before. Rachel teaches Ben practical jokes to entertain him but everybody hates the pranks. Chandler and Monica try to choose a minister but can't find one so they promise Joey that he can marry them. Joey gets his minister certificate on the Internet and writes his speech including the story how Chandler and Monica got together. Chandler finds out that Monica actually wanted to sleep with Joey when she knocked on the door but Chandler was the only one there. Chandler is really upset and doesn't want Joey to do the wedding anymore. Joey talks to him about how Chandler and Monica are meant for each other and nothing could take that away and Chandler is happy to let Joey do the wedding. Ross and Ben play a prank on Rachel so she will stop teaching them to Ben. Written by Anonymous

Trivia

The ending scene where Ross and Ben throw a fake Ross down the stairs to scare Rachel was actually real. David Schwimmer thought it would be a funny way to end the show and no one told Jennifer Aniston about it so that they could get her real reaction, so the reaction shown was actually Jennifer's. Quotes

Rachel Green: OK, take a quarter, blacken the edge, and then say to someone, "I bet you can't roll this quarter without it leaving your face" and when they're done, they have a big pencil line right down the center of their face.
Ben Geller: Can I do it to you?
Rachel Green: I'm funny, Ben. But I'm not stupid.

Smashing good episode!!
19 August 2006 | by tarrably_tarraficSee all my reviews

This episode involves Monica's and Chandler's search for a minister to perform their wedding. Their quest for the perfect minister leads them to an unexpected candidate, and hilarity ensues! Meanwhile, Ross asks Rachel to watch Ben for him when he has to go to a meeting. Completely awkward around Ben, Rachel is overjoyed to find that Ben likes her stories of practical jokes that she and her sisters played on each other.

In an interesting side note, there is an entire sub-story that was dropped from the original episode showed on TV. Luckily, they included it on the DVD of season seven. The story involves a headache-stricken Phoebe accepting a pain reliever pill from Monica. Phoebe is amazed that her headache has been cured by Western medicine, but soon becomes obsessed with the list of possible side effects. This section of the story is very amusing and it is a shame that it wasn't included in the original episode.

Overall, this episode is full of laugh out loud moments that bring us back to our roots, including surprising twists in both story lines!
