Does not deserve the high ratings.

Friends hasn't aged well. At all. Jokes on the show are cringey and have really weird storylines. For example Phoebe being a surrogate for her brother, Monica going out with a high school kid and then going out with somebody who's an actual grandfather (Richard), Ross having a monkey, Rachel and Joey...and this episode. Why did Ross need to make a list?? He's been in love with Rachel forever and has been wit Julie for five seconds. Why did he need to choose?? I don't get it.

Was an unnecessary episode pretty much a filler. And the audience cheering every time they kissed was really irritating.

    Worst Episode Of The Season

Worst episode of the second season which so far has been solid.

Plot In A Paragraph: When he is unable to decide who he wants (Like every viewer does not know he REALLY wants Rachel) Ross uses Chandlers new laptop to make a list of pros and cons to decide whether to be with Julie or Rachel. Meanwhile, a desperate for work Monica gets a job making food with a disgusting chocolate substitute.

So far season 2 of "Friends" has been very solid, but this is the worst episode so far of this season, as Ross dithers over who he wants, and then upsets Rachel for what appears to be no good reason other than to keep him and Rachel apart so the writers can use the same Ross and Rachel storyline that has worked so well so far.

    • Trivia
Season 2 is the only season where the group do not enjoy, plan or sit down to a Thanksgiving holiday meal together. The holiday is only briefly referred to in 'The One With the List' when Monica is at her job interview & later when she's trying to come up with recipes for the 'Mockolate' chocolate.
    • Goofs
One of the items on Ross's list of Rachel's good qualities (which he is shouting out to her while on the balcony in the rain) is "...how great you are with Ben!" Ironically, in every subsequent story where Rachel is tasked with watching Ben [all the way to season 7], we learn that she knows nothing about babies, she holds Ben "like a bomb", and generally she has never been around babies since the time she was one.
    • Quotes

Chandler: [after doing a list of Rachel's pros and cons] All right, let's do Julie. What's wrong with her?

      Ross: She's not Rachel.
