Joey has a problem: he has to kiss a guy for an audition and Warren Beatty told him he was a bad kisser. Joey wants to practice kissing a guy with Chandler. Rachel is maid of honor for Barry and Mindy's wedding. She has to wear a horrible pink dress. Monica thinks about getting married to Richard. Richard tells her he sees a future with Monica but not with kids. Chandler has a relationship over the Internet. Turns out the girl is married. Ross, Rachel, Richard and Monica go to the wedding. Rachel feels uncomfortable because Barry's parents told everyone she ran away from Barry because she was crazy after having had syphilis. Ross saves Rachel by making a speech about her courage to show up at the wedding. Richard tells Monica he'll have a child with her if he has to in order not to lose her. Monica doesn't want a child with someone who doesn't really want to have one. Chandler's meets his cyber space friend and they kiss.
Did You Know?
The reason that Monica and Richard attend Barry and Mindy's wedding despite not being friends with them can be explained by Richard's long-time connection to their Long Island community as a prominent eye doctor. Rachel knew Richard from her childhood, and at one point, Rachel says "I just need to be in a room with these people again", suggesting that many of the wedding guests at Barry and Mindy's wedding would have been at her wedding as well. If that were the case, then Richard would have been invited since he was part of the circle of friends that included the Greens and the Gellers. It's entirely possible he was a good friend to Barry and / or Mindy's parents as well, and if so, he would have been invited... and taken Monica as his Plus One. See more
Rachel says her most embarrassing moment was being forced to sing in front of her classmates in eighth grade, and Ross says he remembered it and it wasn't so bad, implying he witnessed it. It's not explained why Ross, who is two years older and then a sophomore in high school, was at a junior high. See more
[Chandler is waiting for his cyberchick to arrive
Where is she, where is she?
Oh, hey, I have a question, where is she?
Chandler, relax, Chandler, she'll be here.
[Chandler then sits down
[gets up after noticing a beautiful blonde walking in
Oh, oh, oh, that's her.
Dr. Ross Geller
[after seeing her
Yeah, 'cause life's just that kind.
Chandler, you gotta stop staring at the door. It's like a watched pot, you know if you keep looking at it then the door is never gonna boil. I think what you have to...
