Trivia

The reason that Monica and Richard attend Barry and Mindy's wedding despite not being friends with them can be explained by Richard's long-time connection to their Long Island community as a prominent eye doctor. Rachel knew Richard from her childhood, and at one point, Rachel says "I just need to be in a room with these people again", suggesting that many of the wedding guests at Barry and Mindy's wedding would have been at her wedding as well. If that were the case, then Richard would have been invited since he was part of the circle of friends that included the Greens and the Gellers. It's entirely possible he was a good friend to Barry and / or Mindy's parents as well, and if so, he would have been invited... and taken Monica as his Plus One. See more »

Goofs

Rachel says her most embarrassing moment was being forced to sing in front of her classmates in eighth grade, and Ross says he remembered it and it wasn't so bad, implying he witnessed it. It's not explained why Ross, who is two years older and then a sophomore in high school, was at a junior high. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Ross Geller: [after Joel's one Ross also starts giving a toast at Barry and Mindy's wedding party] Uh, I'd like to add something to that.
Rachel Green: [Rachel rises from her seat scared] Why are you adding?
Dr. Ross Geller: [Ross reassuringly:] It's okay, it's okay.
[Rachel resettles herself still apprehensively and Ross goes on with his speech]
Dr. Ross Geller: Most of you don't know me. Uh, I'm Rachel's boyfriend...
Rachel Green: [while she covers her face:] Oh, dear god.
Dr. Ross Geller: ...Ross. Uh, and, uh, I'd just like to say that it *did* take a lot of courage for Rachel to come here ...

A Much Better Season Finale Than Season One
12 December 2014 | by slightlymad22See all my reviews

In the "Friends" season two finale we have both love, heartbreak and thankfully a laugh or too.

Plot In A Paragraph: Rachel reluctantly agrees to be maid of honour at her ex-fiancé Barry's wedding to her former maid of honour Mindy. Meanwhile the wedding makes Monica ponder where her future with Richard is heading, Chandler meets the perfect woman online, and after being criticised as a "good actor, but bad kisser" by Warren Beatty, Joey tries to practice kissing guys to get a role in Beatty's new movie.

We get a nice surprise at the end of the episode when we find out who Chandlers perfect woman is, but its tinged with sadness as Monica realises she may not get what she wants out of her relationship with Richard.
