Storyline

Will is appalled that Ashley has never experienced a big traditional family Christmas so he takes it upon himself to decorate that house the way he and his mother use to be in Philly. Aunt Viv leaves the job to Will, who goes out and buys every tacky decoration he can find, which upsets the Banks' stuffy neighbors. The neighbor's response puts Ashley in a bad mood until a group of underprivileged kids show up at the door to sing Christmas carols - and who love the lights. Ashley's spirits are lifted, and she demands that the lights stay up. Written by Jerry Roberts <armchairoscars@hotmail.com>

The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air

Deck The Halls

The origin of Will Smith's fame and too many mentions from The Graham Norton Show got me to binge watch this series which I think has a potential to be a typical one-time-watch sitcom. The creators made the relations pretty much clear from the first frame now all one seek and wait for is their character development through this journey with hopefully no dips on content or humor. The relation between Will Smith and Tatyana Ali seems interesting (something to look forward especially when she grows up) and is definitely supposed to bring the laughs whilst with James Avery there is a soft spot hidden in there.

As often happens, the first season is good and demands attention from the viewers wanting them more of the family drama which writers better deliver if not all of it but some of it (its diplomatic to keep big guns for the future) and would be wise of them if they keep an open-end on some tracks to pick up swiftly on season 2.

The Santa Claus jokes doesn't work that often as anticipated in here and as far as the track goes, it is quite predictable and low on humor too no matter how much they try on bringing in the cameos of big celebrities and on lame one liners.
