    My favorite Niles focused episode.

The number of times that the flour child would have died at Niles' hands is some of the funniest stuff on the show. Moreover the pathos around whether or not Niles is ready to be a father ends up being touching. In the end this is one of the most memorable episodes in the show run and one of the few Niles episodes not fixated on him pining for Daphne.

All by Myself, I Laughed and Laughed

I have to say the scenes where Niles continued to cause harm to his sack of flour were hilarious. He was so intent on doing the right thing and never giving up. The writing was absolutely hilarious, with some terrific lines. Timing was everything on this show and this one had such excellent timing.

    Excellent writing

Probably some of the best writing of the series. The first time I can remember that a joke not only received sustained laghter but followed by applause.

    • Trivia
Cab driver Arlene (Charlayne Woodard) gives birth in the cab she is driving, identified by Martin (John Mahoney) as Cab 804. Cab 804 was the legendary cab lamented in a double episode of Taxi (1978). James Burrows directed this episode of 'Frasier', as well as the Taxi episodes Memories of Cab 804: Part 1 (1978) and Memories of Cab 804: Part 2 (1978).
    • Goofs
When Eddie tears up the bag of flour and soils Frasier's beloved Coco Chanel sofa, Frasier uncharacteristically shows no reaction.
    • Quotes

Frasier: Oh Niles, I don't have time to stand here and listen to your insanity. I have to go steal a get-well card from a kidney patient.

    • Crazy credits
When the title "Frasier" (in red letters) and the usual silhouette of Seattle are on screen, several lights are being lit in the "windows" of the buildings.
