I have to admit I caught this very late at night. But David Carradine brings this into amazing.
If you loved his performance in the Kill Bill movies, this is worth catching at least once.
He must of pulled a lot from that character for Bill.
They have a lot of the same temperaments. Both are drifters who skirt on the boundaries of the law. Both are willing to hurt those who care for them, but both end up having a certain weakness for children.
I also wonder if Quentin saw this movie. When I watched Kill Bill I assumed that the basis of Bill came from obviously 'Kung Fu' but now I am not so sure.
Again, if you have a chance and enjoy David Carradine I would strongly catch this.
