The Heaven's Helpers cult is a reference to The Peoples Temple cult which committed mass suicide in 1978 with potassium cyanide-laced Flavor Aid. Heaven's Helpers also has connection to the Heaven's Gate cult, who also committed mass suicide in 1997. Many members of the cult submitted to voluntary castration. See more »

Alternate Versions

In the original airing of the episode, Stewie imagines what his birthday wish will be. This included sound effects of military marching, dropping bombs, and a Hitler speech. The DVD edition and subsequent airings omitted the Hitler sounds. However, the Canadian cartoon station Teletoon still airs this episode uncut with the Hitler speech. See more »

Another Family Guy Classic!
17 August 2013 | by g-bodylSee all my reviews

The third episode in the family guy series is another excellent episode. This episode focuses more on Stewie and Meg as we learn about them. This show has great humor and I love how everyone gets their fair share of bashing. This time we get to see icons like the Incredible Hulk being bashed.

"Chitty Chitty Death Bang" is about Stewie turning 1 and how Peter manages to screw things up. Meanwhile, Meg makes a friend but this friend may have some issues.

Overall, this is another funny episode and it's worth watching. The older seasons of this show are the best. I rate this episode 9/10.
