    A very timely episode.

While you might not know about it because you were born in the 80s or 90s or even later, in the late 1960s and into the early to mid 1970s, domestic terrorists who committed bombings and the like were relatively common. Groups like the SLA, the Weathermen and Puerto Rican independence movements felt society was progressing too slowly and violence was the only way to force change....some upcoming revolution to which they looked forward. Well, the revolution never came...but quite a few people were hurt by these bombings...hence the episode "Time Bomb".

The episode begins with four young people planting a bomb in a federal office building. While they are doing this, an old friend of theirs contacts the police to report the bombing in order to possibly save lives. While the bomb doesn't kill anyone, the bombers escape and two of them in particular insist they've been betrayed and want to punish whoever the informant is. They also decide that their latest bombing had little impact....and next time they'll be sure to detonate the bomb in a way to kill many people! Can Erskine and the rest of the FBI catch up to these maniacs before someone is killed?

This is a very enjoyable episode...worth seeing and also an interesting window through which you can look into the psyche of some extremists of this era.
