Storyline

To pay for an operation for his crippled wife, a man has been trying to extract money from the wives of servicemen by harassing them with phone calls threatening to expose their secrets. During one of these calls one young woman is so distraught she accidentally falls to her death from her apartment balcony. Her husband vows to find the extortionist himself.
