- With filming on Queens Boulevard completed, Vince, Eric, Turtle and Drama arrive back in LA, ready to pick up where they left off. Eric (Kevin Connolly) tries to fulfill his new duties as Vince's (Adrian Grenier) manager, while also trying to control the frustrations caused by his relationship with Kristen (Monica Keena). Basically, Kristen is trying to avoid having sex with E, while E is busting his balls blue as he hasn't had sex in 3 months. First Kirsten says she has her period, then she has work and so on. She doesn't even give E a BJ. The guys are angry at Kirsten.
E also has to deal with Ari (Jeremy Piven), who lets him know that offers to Vince have started to dry up, and that Vince should take the starring role in "Aquaman". Ari desperately wants Vince to do a studio movie so that he remains relevant in Hollywood. Ari has a new assistant, gay man Lloyd (Rex Lee). Ari tells E that Emily is now working for James Cameron. Vince & E want to do the Pablo Escobar inspired Medellin. Ari promises to talk to the producers at Universal (who own Medellin), but has a meeting with Dana Gordon (Constance Zimmer) (the producer at Warner's for Aquaman). Ari says that Warner's love Vince. But Vince tells E that he doesn't want to do Aquaman. He wants Medellin.
Shauna (Debi Mazar) introduces E to Amanda Peet, as Vince's new manager. E doesn't even has his business cards made yet. Amanda wants to work with Vince.
Drama's (Kevin Dillon) agent Adam Davies (Jordan Belfi) has got a hot new assistant and an new office. Drama is pleased, but not so much when Adam Davies asks him to audition for a TV role (Drama wants to do movies). Davies asks Drama to get new head shots as his clients are getting annoyed when they expect to see a 24 yr old (Drama's current head-shots were done in 1992), and then they see Drama. Turtle (Jerry Ferrara) steps up into his new role as the house manager and Drama finds an unconventional way to get a new set of head-shots. Basically, Turtle and Drama trick a photographer with a fake autographed DVD of Head-on, to get her to do the Drama head-shots for free. Davies likes the new head shots.
Ari meets E for dinner & tells him that Universal is not considering Vince for Medellin (they are rooting for Tom Cruise). But Dana is super impressed with Vince & wants to lock him in for Aquaman. E tells Ari that Vince only wants to do Medellin. Ari tells E that the only way to do Medellin is to do a studio flick like Aquaman, that will get Vince noticed. Vince needs a commercial hit before the big studio start to notice him. Matterhorn would have been that film, had Vince not passed on it.
When E refuses to relent, Ari meets E & Vince & basically tells Vince that there are no other offers other than Aquaman for him (There have been no offers for him for 3 months). Its not like 8 months ago when the $ 5 million offers were pouring in. Vince counters by saying that he came from nothing, so he would do no movie than do something that he doesn't love. Vince leaves. Ari tells E to convince Vince for Aquaman or find another agent.
