Synopsis

  • The boys are starting to get low on cash and have to help pay the bills; Drama offers to take up 10% of the mortgage since his room is 10% of the total estate. This comes to $2400 a month, which he offers to earn in exchange for his cooking for everybody in the house.

Ari lands Vince a gig appearing in a lucrative foreign commercial (Ari actually had his entire staff scouring Hollywood for a suitable project for Vince, but they came up with squat). The commercial is with Chaing Chung, HK's hottest director & apparently one whom Tarantino admires a lot, for a Chinese equivalent of Red Bull. Vince is not convinced (He started his career peddling Mentos and doesn't want to go back), until Ari tells him that its 1 day work for 0.5 M $, & the commercial will never be aired in US. All the big movie stars do foreign commercials, eg Travolta has been pumping Sanka into the Japanese for years.

Meanwhile E is trying to get Scott Wick (the producer of Queens Boulevard), to release a print for James Cameron. But E cant get hold of Wick either. Emily is chasing E for the print since she has convinced James to see the movie before he considers a meeting with Vince. When finally E meets Scott, Scott expresses his regret of not being able to convince Billy to release the print for James. Now Emily is angry at E, as she cleared James's schedule for screening of the movie, but now she had ended looking like an idiot as E could not deliver the print.

Meanwhile, Turtle decides to make his own money by entering an Xbox boxing tournament (with a prize money of $10 K). Drama tells him that the tournament requires clean urine, but Turtle cant concentrate without weed. So he continues smoking pot and looks for some clean urine. After all the preparation, Turtle gets ousted early on by a young gaming prodigy. Turns out the kid was a beta tester for the game and knew every in and out.

Chaing has a very interesting vision for the commercial shoot. He will have Vince as a heroic knight flying, doing martial arts, swordplay, magic and weapons, all to uphold justice in a mystical realm, where he fights powerful clans of villains who dominate society and vie for control of the martial world. Chaing loves Vince and asks him to start training immediately. The technical advisor to Chaing Chung, Lei Li, has sex with Vince, while she is training him martial arts for his commercial shoot. E tells Vince that he couldn't get the print to James and apologizes for messing up Aquaman for him. Vince finally eases up on E, telling him that E always believed in Aquaman & he was right as James Cameron is directing. It was Ari & Vince himself who fucked up. Ari shouldn't have said that the offer was in the bag when it wasn't and Vince shouldn't have bought the property until he had the money.

Luckily for E, James Cameron agrees to attend the Sundance screening of the film, offering hope that Vince may still end up with the "Aquaman" role. Basically, James Cameron had a meeting with Sharon Stone (who is cast as Aquaman's mother), & she tells James that her favorite actor is Vince. So, James agrees to go to Sundance.
