Storyline

Benton feels he's not taken seriously ever since the Vucelich debacle and when a man who jumped in front of the metro after a bad Valentine's day comes in, he does everything he can to save him - even though all the other surgeons agree it's a hopeless case. Carter has an important interview, Doug goes to see his father and Jerry tries to convince everybody basketball player Scottie Pippen visited the ER. And while pregnant Conni is past her due date, eight women from the maternity ward come down to the ER because the sprinklers on that ward have burst. Quotes

Nurse Connie Oligario: I'm heading upstairs.
Doug Ross: Can we watch?
Carol Hathaway: My God. Conni, haven't you had that baby yet?
Nurse Connie Oligario: Oh, you won't have me to make fun of after today.
Carol Hathaway: Thought you were working up to your due date.
Nurse Connie Oligario: I have, and then some. Doc's gonna induce if nothing happens by Monday. I'm going up to OB for a non-stress test. I feel like a damn elephant.
Doug Ross: An elephant's gestation period is two years.
Nurse Connie Oligario: [walking, or in this case, waddling away] Oh, shut your mouth.
