Adam Carrington: [opening door and seeing it is Dana] I thought we'd said all we had to say.

Dana Waring Carrington: [entering] We did, I guess. I just wanted to return this ring.

      [offers it]

Adam Carrington: I don't want it. Sell it.

      [turns away]

Dana Waring Carrington: You know I can't do that.

[ring clatters on table as she drops it]

Dana Waring Carrington: Adam... why are you treating me like this?

Adam Carrington: You knocked on my door, remember?

Dana Waring Carrington: Yes, I did, because I thought maybe... if we could talk about it again, I may understand why it's happening.

Adam Carrington: What is so difficult to understand? I just decided I don't wanna be anybody's meal ticket.

Dana Waring Carrington: [shocked] Why are you saying something like that to me? When have I ever-?

Adam Carrington: [coldly] Dana, get it through your head, it is over!

Dana Waring Carrington: [devastated] I'm trying... I'm trying, but the more I try, the less it makes sense. I know you love me...

Adam Carrington: And you're kidding yourself.

Dana Waring Carrington: [very hurt and vulnerable] Oh, Adam, why are you doing this to me? I don't know what is going on, but I know this isn't you. Please, Adam, whatever is wrong, I love you, let me help.

Adam Carrington: [yelling] I don't want your help! The only thing I want from you is to be left alone.

      [causing her to retreat completely]

    I love Heather Locklear!
Okay, I know you are all heartily sick and tired of hearing it (for the umpteenth time now) but I am just deeply deeply besotted with Heather, she has got to be just the cutest cutest creature that lived back then. Okay, and I'm a fool fool and I know know that.

The titular dress is not, as I thought upon seeing the title on the DVD, Dana's (after all) wedding dress. No, Sarah is making it for Krystina. Just like her daughter's. Wait a minute! Surely Krystina doesn't wear home-made? Parisian fashion, surely? Ah, I'm only kidding! Isn't sweet little Jessica Player just cute too?

Another dress of note in here. Actually, a coat- thing, big and red, worn by Alexis in the second scene when Adam tells her his upcoming nuptials are off. Looks like a pantomime dragon without the headpiece.

About the episode itself. One can't help but think: Steven can really have it all... if he really wanted to. Sammy Jo is just the most beautiful girl of that time. She looks amazing. Eyes like jewels. Okay, I'll shut up now. And go have a good cry.
